This corporate move aims to make the shares more affordable to retail investors, as splitting the stock decreases its nominal value per share, thereby potentially increasing its liquidity.

Following the split, the new shares will be credited to the Demat accounts of eligible shareholders. A new International Securities Identification Number (ISIN)—INE721A01047—has been assigned to the revised shares, effective from today, as confirmed by the National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) and Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL).

Over the last year, Shriram Finance’s stock has delivered impressive returns, with a 109% surge in value, significantly outperforming the broader market, which saw an 8% increase during the same period.

Shriram Finance, the flagship company of the Shriram Group, operates in a variety of financial sectors, offering loans for commercial and passenger vehicles, construction and farm equipment, MSMEs, two-wheelers, gold, and personal financing.
