Gold Logie award-winning presenter Sonia Kruger and her partner Craig McPherson have successfully sold their luxurious Mosman mansion for approximately $20 million. The property, located on the prestigious Balmoral Slopes, had been on the market for some time and finally attracted a buyer.
The five-bedroom home features standout amenities including a wet-edge infinity pool and Sydney Harbour views. It was quietly listed a year ago with Michael Coombs from Atlas, and after a period of market positioning, it was formally launched with an $18.5 million guide in November. Despite a planned auction on March 8, Coombs revealed that the event didn’t proceed as some prospective buyers were still preparing their bids. However, the house was sold shortly afterward, with sources confirming it was sold just shy of the $20 million mark.
The mansion underwent significant renovations by Corben Architects, who added a level to enhance the already stunning views of Sydney Harbour. Though the process was delayed due to the pandemic, the project was completed successfully, winning an MBA award in 2022.
Property Features:
- 5 Bedrooms and 4 Bathrooms
- Tri-level design
- Limestone induction kitchen with Miele appliances
- Self-contained guest quarters ideal for an au pair
- Versatile spaces for a gym or media room
- Porcelain tiled alfresco area overlooking Balmoral Beach
- Triple garage and wine cellar
- Internal lift
The home’s prime location is just a short stroll to Balmoral Beach and close to Mosman village, making it a coveted property in a highly sought-after neighborhood.
Sonia Kruger and Craig McPherson, who purchased the property for $6.475 million nine years ago, seem to have enjoyed the process of redesigning their home and are reportedly keen on undertaking another renovation project. Sonia, a well-known media personality, won the Gold Logie for Most Popular Personality in 2024 and remains one of Australia’s most recognizable TV figures. Craig, a former Channel 7 director of news, has also played an influential role behind the scenes.
This sale marks the latest high-profile property transaction in Sydney, where demand for exclusive homes continues to rise.
