Kainos’ ambitious investment initiative encompasses comprehensive training for over 1,000 personnel in AI tools and ‘Copilots.’
Although variations of AI technology, such as customer service ‘chatbots,’ are already widespread, Kainos has maintained an AI and data practice for several years, currently employing approximately 150 professionals.
Incoming Chief Executive, Russell Sloan, emphasized the significance of this announcement, marking a decisive stride toward enhancing the company’s AI capabilities. Sloan affirmed, “Our investment in upskilling over 1,000 colleagues underscores our commitment to harness the potential of generative AI for the betterment of our clients. Concurrently, we are augmenting our financial support for academic research establishments, including Ulster University’s AI Research Centre (AIRC).”
