Despite the inconvenience, it is crucial to note that there is no immediate safety risk associated with this software flaw. According to the official notice, the defect does not compromise the overall performance of the vehicle.
Owners of the affected vehicles are advised to take prompt action. They can either reach out to Tesla to schedule an appointment for a thorough inspection and software update or opt for a manual update using the vehicle’s main screen.
