TBC Uzbekistan has announced the initiation of a waiting list for its new business banking service, TBC Business, set to launch as the country’s first fully digital banking solution tailored for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and individual entrepreneurs. This innovative platform aims to revolutionize financial management for businesses by eliminating the need for physical branch visits.
The upcoming TBC Business service promises several key features designed to streamline business operations. These include a swift, paperless account setup process that takes just three minutes, round-the-clock payment services, and comprehensive tools for managing financial transactions. Early registrants on the waiting list will benefit from six months of complimentary banking services.
This move marks TBC Uzbekistan’s expansion from consumer banking into the business sector, reflecting the company’s strategic shift to diversify its offerings. The new service is tailored to meet the evolving needs of SMEs and entrepreneurs in Uzbekistan, a response to the country’s increasing demand for advanced digital financial solutions.
Nika Kurdiani, CEO of TBC Group operations in Uzbekistan, emphasized the significance of this launch, stating, “Our new business banking service represents a significant step in providing accessible and modern digital solutions for SMEs, a segment that is frequently neglected. We are committed to ensuring that TBC Business will address the unique challenges faced by smaller businesses in Uzbekistan’s rapidly growing economy.”
Uzbekistan, with a population of 37 million and a youthful demographic—59% of whom are under 30—continues to experience a surge in demand for digital financial services. TBC Uzbekistan, boasting over 16 million registered users, has solidified its position as a major player in the region’s digital banking sector.
The introduction of TBC Business is part of a broader strategy by TBC Uzbekistan to support SMEs and individual entrepreneurs as they navigate the complexities of a rapidly evolving economic landscape.
