Halton is set to welcome an empowering event aimed at women in business, titled “Actually She Can.” Sponsored by Prospect Homes and organized by the Mayoress, Andrea Wainwright, this event is part of the Mayor’s Charity Fundraising initiatives and will take place in February 2025.
Event Purpose
The “Actually She Can” event focuses on providing unique opportunities for personal and professional growth for women in Halton. It aims to cultivate future talent in the area by raising funds for bursary opportunities, which will assist local young people in pursuing higher education or apprenticeships.
Prospect Homes’ Commitment
Prospect Homes’ involvement in the event highlights its dedication to inspiring women and equipping them with the motivation needed to maximize their career potential. The company actively collaborates with the Women into Home Building program, run by the Home Builders Federation (HBF), to encourage women to explore careers in homebuilding.
Work Experience Opportunities
As one of the few small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the North participating in the program, Prospect Homes plans to offer work experience to two women at its latest development, Abbey Vale in Widnes, later this year.
