The 2024 Central Valley Business Expo is gearing up for an exciting event on Thursday, November 7, at the Modesto Centre Plaza. This year’s expo promises to be a dynamic platform for entrepreneurs, featuring a Young Entrepreneur Contest where ten finalists will compete for a grand prize of $2,500 and a 12-month mentorship to help launch their businesses.
Event Theme and Highlights
Presented by Love’s Air, Sutter Health, and Industry Standard Electric, the theme for this year’s expo is “Learn. Network. Build.” Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from industry leaders discussing topics that can significantly benefit small and mid-sized businesses in the Central Valley.
The 2024 Business Expo will host 24 breakout sessions, offering seven Continuing Education credits for participants. Additionally, there will be three speaking panels throughout the day and two dedicated networking events for business owners and HR professionals. The expo will also feature an onsite resource center showcasing over 20 local small business resources, where attendees can explore various support options available for business development.

“This event has grown in both size and scope based on the success that it achieved last year,” said Fred Rasuli, Co-Chair for the 2024 Central Valley Business Expo. Pre-Conference Event and Attendance
A pre-conference Meet & Greet VIP Event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 6, at 5 p.m. at Greens on Tenth in Modesto. This event will feature a Silent Auction to raise funds for the Young Entrepreneur contest prize winners.
The expo is expected to attract 300 to 400 attendees, including individual business owners and managers, with over 55 local business exhibitors participating from Stanislaus, San Joaquin, Merced, and Tuolumne counties. Notable entities involved include Opportunity Stanislaus, SBDC/Valley Sierra, Modesto Chamber of Commerce, and many others.

Tickets for the 2024 Central Valley Business Expo can be purchased online, with prices ranging from $25 for a Silver Level membership to $175 for a Platinum Level membership. The Gold Level Membership, priced at $99, is the most popular option, including access to four breakout sessions and both certification classes along with the Resource Library. The Exhibition Hall will be accessible to the general public through a Bronze Level Membership at no cost.
