South Korea Introduces Financial Education Program for Foreign Residents

South Korea’s Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) has launched a new initiative aimed at providing financial education to foreign residents at designated bank branches. Announced on Tuesday, the program includes the installation of informative materials across 88 specialized bank branches throughout the country.

The promotional resources, available in eight languages, are designed to assist foreigners in navigating the South Korean financial landscape. The materials feature QR codes that link to a Financial Life Guidebook specifically tailored for expatriates, as well as educational videos focused on financial lifestyles.

Meanwhile, the accompanying videos showcase consultations between foreign residents and financial experts, providing practical advice in an accessible format.
