In a groundbreaking move, Kyia Wood, a Gold Coast resident, is leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to market her luxury beachfront apartment, blending cutting-edge technology with property sales. After facing several setbacks due to adverse weather conditions and a tight selling timeline, Wood has opted for an AI-enhanced promotional video to showcase her property, foregoing the traditional approach of hiring a videographer.
Teaming up with Desire Media, a company specializing in innovative marketing, the campaign combines still photography with AI tools to offer potential buyers a lifelike, dynamic preview of the apartment. The result is a compelling digital tour that accurately reflects the vision of the developer.
Wood, who is selling her four-bedroom apartment in the award-winning Cabana building on the Gold Coast’s Palm Beach, explained, “I wanted to try this technology because it’s already being used in other industries. It proved to be faster and more cost-effective than traditional methods, and I’m excited to explore it in future projects.”
Situated on the second floor of the exclusive Cabana building on Nineteenth Ave, the apartment boasts stunning views of the beach, offering privacy and modern comfort. “This property is one of the few with full-height block and concrete dividing walls on the balcony, providing unmatched privacy,” Wood said, noting her role as the building’s original sales manager when it was first developed two years ago. “Cabana is a rare beachfront development—there are no roads or footpaths in front, just direct access to the sand.”
The apartment’s spacious layout was customized by Wood and her husband Raymond to meet the needs of their growing family. “We adapted the floor plan to include four bedrooms and three bathrooms, ensuring ample space for our three children,” she explained. “This flexibility highlights the thoughtfulness behind the development’s design.”
The property’s location also offers access to exciting ocean activities. “We’ve had incredible experiences, like snorkeling at the reef just 150 meters from Cabana. Last year, Raymond and I swam with a large turtle on our wedding anniversary—it was unforgettable,” Wood said.
Real estate agent Jared Malan, from Ray White Malan + Co – Palm Beach, has reported significant interest in the property since its listing. “The response has been overwhelming,” Malan said. “The combination of Cabana’s prestigious design and the innovative AI video has captured the attention of potential buyers, fostering an emotional connection with the apartment.”
The apartment will be auctioned on March 7, with the AI video playing a central role in the marketing strategy aimed at attracting a high level of buyer interest.
