City Developments Limited (CDL) resumed trading on 3 March 2025, following a week-long halt triggered by internal board disagreements over its composition and committee structure.
Despite media speculation surrounding the dispute, CDL has refrained from commenting on the allegations, noting that many aspects of the matter are part of ongoing legal proceedings.
The company assured stakeholders that its business operations remain unaffected. Group CEO Sherman Kwek continues to lead the company, unless the board decides otherwise.
CDL also pledged to keep shareholders informed of any material developments, in compliance with the Singapore Exchange (SGX-ST) Listing Manual requirements.
