ProSpend, Australia’s leading unified spend management platform, has officially launched its first brand campaign, “Start ProSpending,” aimed at revolutionizing the way Australian businesses manage their finances.
The campaign highlights a major issue for Australian finance teams: the inefficiency caused by manual processes and disconnected systems. Research from MYOB reveals that finance teams waste almost a full working day every week (7 hours) on tasks due to the lack of integration between digital tools, with over 50% of teams duplicating work across multiple systems. These efforts often involve manually entering data, checking for consistency, and fixing errors, all of which hinder productivity and delay strategic work.
ProSpend addresses this problem with its unified platform that integrates expense management, AP automation, and virtual cards into a single solution. This approach removes the need for multiple complex systems and enables businesses to regain control over their spending while freeing up finance teams to focus on strategic tasks.
Sharon Nouh, CEO of ProSpend, shared her personal experience of witnessing the challenges of manual financial processes while working in travel a decade ago. Despite technological advancements, businesses continue to struggle with outdated systems. “That’s why we’ve built the only platform that truly unifies expense management, AP automation, and corporate cards – because Australian businesses deserve better than chaos,” Nouh explained.
The integrated campaign is set to roll out across digital channels and will be prominently featured at the MYOB Partner Connect Event in Sydney on March 4-5. The event will spotlight the frustrations mid-market businesses face with disconnected solutions.
Phillip Vella, Sales Director at ProSpend, emphasized the significant market shift, noting that 60% of CFOs are now directly responsible for selecting technology solutions. “Mid-market businesses are ready to leave behind the complexity of outdated systems,” he said.
Tanu Kaushik, Marketing Director at ProSpend, highlighted the reality of the campaign: “Finance teams are missing family dinners, CFOs are losing sleep over reconciliations, and business owners are drowning in paperwork. ‘Start ProSpending’ is a call for change that’s long overdue in Australian business.”
In addition to the campaign, ProSpend will release “The Future of Spend Management” report in April, which will explore how CFOs in the ANZ region are evolving their financial operations. The report will provide valuable insights into why finance teams are shifting towards unified platforms and how businesses can streamline operations, maintain compliance, and foster growth.
With software spending projected to reach $46 billion in 2025, the report will offer practical guidance for finance leaders on modernizing spend management. The campaign also includes thought leadership content, brand films, and customer success stories illustrating real-world transformations.
ProSpend’s campaign is not just about promoting a product; it’s about reshaping the way Australian businesses think about their financial operations.
