Metacon Advances Negotiations for Wind-to-Hydrogen Pilot Project

by Ivy

Metacon AB (publ), a leading developer of sustainable energy solutions, announced today that it is nearing the final stages of negotiations for a significant electrolysis-based project involving wind power-to-hydrogen production. The company has confirmed that it is highly likely the deal, valued at over SEK 20 million, will come to fruition. This project, which serves as a pilot initiative, is a key part of the customer’s broader strategy to assess the feasibility of large-scale hydrogen production.

Metacon anticipates providing further updates once the agreement is officially finalized or if the negotiations ultimately do not progress. In light of the ongoing subscription period for the T01 option program, the company has emphasized that this information could be of interest to stakeholders. However, Metacon cautioned that there are no guarantees that the agreement will be signed.
