Monarch Airlines is gearing up for a revival, six years after its prior collapse.
The airline, which previously operated flights from London Luton Airport, has confirmed that its new headquarters will be situated in the town of Bedfordshire.
In 2017, Monarch Airlines faced a severe crisis that led to its collapse, causing over 1,800 employees to lose their jobs and resulting in the cancellation of flights and vacations for around 860,000 travelers.
Monarch has recently announced a transfer of ownership for both the airline and the associated holiday company.
The origins of the firm trace back to a travel company established in 1928, with the airline’s inception in Luton taking place in 1968.
The impending relaunch marks a significant development in the aviation industry, presenting Monarch Airlines with the opportunity to rejuvenate its operations and regain its foothold in the market.
