Every autumn, Apple holds a hardware event to unveil the next generation of iPhones, Apple Watches and more.
This year, the press invitations revealed a “Wonderlust” theme. What that means is open to interpretation. For comparison, last year’s “Far Out” turned out to be a reference to the emergency satellite capabilities of the iPhone 14 series.
The invitation hints at the rumoured new colours of the iPhone 15 Pro. The Apple logo shown is a gradient of four colours: Black, silver, grey and blue. These colours are in line with what’s reportedly being offered for the iPhone 15 Pro line.
Here’s everything you need to know about this year’s event.
When is the event?
The Apple event will take place on 12 September at 10:00 a.m. PT at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. Only select members of the press and industry analysts will be invited to attend in person.
However, as always, Apple will provide a live streaming option so the rest of the world can tune in from their devices.
How to watch
As in previous years, the Wonderlust event will be streamed live on Apple’s website and official YouTube channel.
What to expect
As for what to expect from the event, Apple events typically consist of a pre-recorded video stream, including a welcome from Tim Cook, his iconic “Good morning”, and various executives announcing various products and services.
