Tesla has released a captivating video featuring a choreographed light show performed by five Cybertrucks. While the reason behind this display remains unclear, the vehicles’ frunks were illuminated in festive red, complemented by the bright white front lights, signaling a nod to the holiday season.
The 100-second spectacle showcased coordinated patterns of flashing, dimming, and pulsating lights set to a musical track named “The Arrival.” Tesla’s message accompanying the video suggested the idea of enthusiasts gathering five Tesla-owning friends to replicate the synchronized show, albeit acknowledging that individuals might have more pressing engagements, such as watching TV.
According to Tesla, these five custom shows were designed to display coordinated animations across the vehicles, creating a unique and unified visual experience. The light exhibition was crafted by HVpad, an independent creator specializing in custom light shows for Tesla vehicles. This feature can be executed on any Tesla model supporting the light show capability, with additional information available on the dedicated GitHub page.
The Cybertruck light show follows Tesla’s recent launch of the all-electric pickup at a high-profile event at Giga Texas in Austin. Elon Musk, Tesla’s CEO, personally presented the first buyers with the groundbreaking vehicle. Originally unveiled in 2019 with an unconventional design, the Cybertruck faced delays in reaching the roads, with mass production not expected until 2025.
In a unique update on the Cybertruck, Musk reiterated his vision of enhancing its capabilities to navigate not only roads but also bodies of water. Musk’s recent social media post hinted at Tesla offering a modification package that would enable the Cybertruck to traverse at least 100 meters of water, essentially giving it “duck boat” powers. Musk mentioned that the key modification would involve upgrading the cabin door seals for water travel.
