In anticipation of the approaching Lunar New Year on February 10, Apple has unveiled limited-edition second-generation AirPods Pro with an exclusive Year of the Dragon engraving. These special AirPods Pro are currently available for purchase on Apple’s online store in several Asian regions, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam, and Macao. Additionally, they can be found in South Korea, where the Year of the Blue Dragon is being celebrated.
The distinct feature of these commemorative AirPods Pro lies in the dragon engraving present on the USB-C charging case, accompanied by a red dragon design on the packaging. It’s important to note that, apart from these visual elements, the special edition AirPods Pro retain their regular features and pricing.
This isn’t the first time Apple has introduced limited-edition AirPods Pro for Lunar New Year celebrations. In previous years, the tech giant has released special versions to mark the Year of the Ox, Year of the Tiger, and Year of the Rabbit.
To enhance the festive spirit, Apple has also shared a Chinese New Year gift guide in the aforementioned countries and regions, as well as Malaysia. As part of the Lunar New Year celebrations, Apple is offering limited-time savings on various products in China from January 18 through January 21.
Moreover, from January 18 to February 13, Apple is hosting free Today at Apple sessions with a Lunar New Year theme in select countries. The celebrations extend to certain Apple Stores in Asia, where window decals commemorating the Lunar New Year can be spotted. Apple enthusiasts can also find a Year of the Dragon wallpaper for the iPhone, iPad, and Mac on Apple’s Hong Kong website.
In the United States and several other countries, Apple has made available Year of the Dragon accessories from OtterBox and Mophie on its online store. These include iPhone cases, an AirTag holder, and a battery pack. Additionally, Apple is set to launch limited-edition Beats Solo3 Wireless headphones featuring a distinctive red-and-gold color scheme.
It’s worth mentioning that Apple recently marked the Japanese New Year with the release of a limited-edition AirTag featuring a Year of the Dragon engraving, catering to the Japanese market.
