Apple employees will enjoy a 25 percent discount on the Vision Pro, bringing the price down from $3,500 to around $2,624, excluding tax. This discount was communicated to employees through a memo. Although Apple has previously provided 50 percent discounts on products like the HomePod and Apple Watch, the Vision Pro, being a more expensive device, comes with a slightly lower discount.
As part of their benefits, Apple employees receive a $500 credit for a new Mac every three years, and this credit can also be applied to the purchase of the Vision Pro. Additionally, Apple intends to reimburse employees for the cost of prescription lenses required for the headset.
Pre-orders for the Vision Pro will commence at 5:00 a.m. Pacific Time tomorrow, and the official launch is scheduled for Friday, February 2.
